Does Field Competent lodge my renewal with SAPS?
No. It reminds you in time and keeps your documents together; you still apply at your designated firearms officer.
Is Premium a subscription?
Yes, a yearly one. It renews each year at the price you joined at, so a launch-price member keeps the launch price. We email you two weeks before each renewal. Cancel any time in Settings: Premium stays on until the year you paid for ends, and your records stay on your account on the free plan.
Can I get a refund?
Yes, within 7 days of your first payment, once per account. Premium is removed when the refund goes through. Renewals aren’t refunded, so cancel before the renewal date if you no longer need it. Subscribed in the phone app? Google Play or the App Store handles refunds under their own rules.
Can I use it on my phone and computer?
Yes: iPhone, Android and any browser, all on one account.
What if I only have one firearm?
Then the free version covers you, renewal reminders included, for as long as you like.
